So-So Sunday

It's raining and it's colder than normal. Here's the tree across the street. This picture was taken on this morning.I keep finding new places to nap. Yes, this is a garbage bag. Mom has been putting paper in the shredder, and when the shredder is full, she empties it into a black garbage bag. She has to shred a lot of stuff to fill the bag though. She was doing some shredding, but the shredder got a red light and she had to stop for a while. She went away and did something else. When she came back, she found me napping on the trash bag.

She thought it was very funny.

Dunno why.

Good to see that you're always up for trying something new Millie. We'd hate to think that you were a stick in the mud.

We have loads of bags of shredded paper round here. Mum likes to shred it and then use it as rabbit bedding.

Hmmm...that would make for a nice bed filling. The paper pieces would get all nice and warm from body heat and transfer it back... My people have a ton of crap to shred, I wonder if they'd make me a bed out of it...?

You knew all that shredded paper would make a nice soft bed.

Personally I like to pull soft things out of drawers to lay on. I do this in the middle of the night of course. Sometimes Peanut joins in but he isn't nearly as brave as I am.

We like to find strange places to nap, too. Mom and Dad have been making a big ironing board for quilts and we laid on the wool blanket and the batting and and where else that was in the way!

Mum did lots of shredding like that last weekend. If she doesn't have a full bag it is saved in the basket, it is a soft place to nap.

Napping, or guarding the trash?
